Deposit speed is not a matter of one number but the sum of three independent steps — and only one of them is governed by the blockchain. We unpack the mechanics and show what to check yourself before a large transfer.

If you have ever made a deposit to a casino in Bitcoin and then the same amount in USDT, you know the feeling: one of them appeared in the balance before you could switch tabs, the other made you refresh the page for fifteen minutes. The difference is not chance or the casino's whim. It comes from three independent steps, of which only one is governed by the blockchain — and it is precisely that misunderstanding that makes people pay unnecessary network fees or wait twice as long as they need to.

In this article we unpack a deposit the way we measure it in our tests: every step separately, with a stopwatch. By the end you will know exactly where the time goes, which coin and network to choose and what to do when a payment has "disappeared".

The three steps that together make up "deposit time"

Most comparisons talk about deposit time as if it were one number. In reality it is the sum of three independent stages and each of them is governed by a different party.

The first step: your wallet's signature. That is the moment when you press "send" and the wallet writes a digital signature on the transaction and sends it to the network. The time here is a fraction of a second and it is affected by neither the coin nor the casino. The only thing that delays here is your own confirmation click or a button press on a hardware wallet.

The second step: the blockchain confirmation. Here the world divides in two. The transaction has to reach a block and get a sufficient number of confirmations. That is the only step where the choice of coin and network really counts — and this is where almost all the difference you notice is born.

The third step: the casino's crediting. The casino listens to the network, sees your transaction and credits the amount to the balance. Most crypto casinos do that automatically, but each has its own threshold for how many confirmations it waits for before crediting. That threshold is the most common source of hidden delay.

Why this division matters

Why Bitcoin is slower — and why that is not a fault

The Bitcoin network produces a new block on average every ten minutes. That is not a performance problem nobody has got around to solving — it is a deliberate design decision. Ten minutes gives the network time to propagate a block to all the nodes before the next one comes, and that is what makes the chain hard to attack.

In practice that means the following. When you send a Bitcoin transaction, it first lands in the mempool — a waiting queue. Miners pick from there the transactions that pay best. If your transaction offers a competitive fee, it reaches the next block and gets its first confirmation in an average of ten minutes. If you offer too little, you may wait several blocks.

And then comes the casino's threshold. If the casino waits for three confirmations, your real waiting time is three blocks — an average of thirty minutes. If it waits for one, it is ten. The same coin, the same network, the same fee, a threefold difference — and the only variable is the casino's setting.

What "an average of ten minutes" really is

Here is one common misconception. Block time is not a timer counting from zero to ten. Finding blocks is a random process and the next block may come in three minutes or in twenty-five. When you send a transaction you do not start "a new ten minutes" — you join a search already in progress. In statistics that is called a memoryless process and in practice it means a single deposit can be considerably faster or slower than the average suggests, without anything being wrong.

In our measurements Bitcoin's median first confirmation has stayed between 8 and 14 minutes, but individual transactions have taken over forty minutes — with exactly the same fee. That is normal. If you are looking for predictability, Bitcoin is not the right tool.

Why USDT can be a matter of seconds

USDT is not a blockchain of its own. It is a stablecoin — a token that lives on another chain. And that is what makes the whole difference: the same USDT moves on Tron, Ethereum, Solana or the BNB chain, and every network's speed is completely different.

On the TRC-20 network, the most common among casinos, the block time is about three seconds. A confirmation comes almost immediately and even when a casino waits for twenty confirmations, it is still under a minute. On the ERC-20 network the block time is about twelve seconds, which is also fast — but there another surprise awaits you, the network fee. From this comes the most important practical conclusion in the whole article: "USDT" says nothing about deposit speed until you say on which network. The same label, an entirely different experience.

The most expensive mistake

The casino's threshold: the hidden variable nobody talks about

Suppose two casinos accept USDT on the TRC-20 network. One credits the balance after one confirmation, the other waits for nineteen. The network is identical, the fee identical, but the second casino's deposit feels three times slower.

Almost nobody publishes that number. In our tests it has typically been in the range of 1–3 confirmations for Bitcoin and 12–20 confirmations for TRC-20 (which on a fast network is still seconds). A practical tip: if a deposit has arrived on the blockchain but there is nothing in the balance, look at the number of confirmations in a block explorer. If there are few, nothing is broken — you simply have to wait.

How to check where a payment is stuck

  1. Open a block explorer: for Bitcoin mempool.space, for Ethereum etherscan.io, for Tron tronscan.org.
  2. Paste in your transaction hash, which the wallet gave you.
  3. Look at two things: whether the transaction is in a block and how many confirmations it has.

If the transaction is in a block and there are several confirmations but the casino balance is empty, the problem is on the casino's side and support is the right address. If the transaction is not in a block, it is still in the queue and support cannot help.

Deposits and withdrawals are not mirror images

Here many players make a false assumption. A fast deposit does not mean a fast withdrawal, or the other way round.

A deposit is purely technical: you send, the chain confirms, the casino credits. There is no human in that chain.

A withdrawal passes through the casino's internal check before the chain. Most crypto casinos automate that up to a certain threshold — Stake and Thunderpick pay out standard amounts automatically — but with a larger amount or an unusual pattern a manual review kicks in. That is exactly where the stories arise in which a "fast casino" holds a withdrawal for two days.

A rule that holds almost always

What we actually measure

Our numbers do not come from operators' press releases. At every casino we make a real account, a real deposit and measure three things separately:

  • T1 — the moment the wallet sends the transaction out.
  • T2 — the moment the transaction gets its first confirmation on the blockchain.
  • T3 — the moment the amount appears in the casino balance.

T2 minus T1 is blockchain time. T3 minus T2 is the casino's threshold. Only the second number is the casino's own merit or fault and only that do we count into the casino's score. That is also why in our table a casino that is slow with Bitcoin but has a good threshold ranks higher than a house with a fast network but lazy crediting.

Practical choices by situation

You want to test a new casino with a small amount. Choose TRC-20 or Solana. The network fee is a fraction of a cent and if something goes wrong you lose the network fee, not the deposit. Avoid the Ethereum main network — the fee can be larger than your test deposit.

You are depositing a large amount. Here the network fee becomes irrelevant and what counts is security and predictability. Bitcoin or Ethereum are both good choices; add a few minutes of waiting and make a small test transfer first, so that the address and the network are certainly right.

You play regularly and move money often. TRC-20 is almost always the right answer: fast, cheap and the most broadly supported among casinos. Keep a small TRX reserve in the wallet for network fees.

You care about privacy. None of the networks named in this article is anonymous — all transactions are public and permanent. If privacy is a priority, read first the articles on the non-custodial wallet and the cold wallet, and bear in mind that a casino's AML obligations do not disappear.

Common mistakes we see constantly

Underestimating the network fee in Bitcoin. If the wallet offers a "slow" fee and you accept, the transaction may sit for hours. With a casino deposit there is no point saving cents and losing an hour.

Sending USDT via the wrong network. We repeat it, because it is the most expensive mistake: check the network, not only the address.

Copying a withdrawal address by hand. Always copy via the clipboard and check the first and last four characters. Malware that swaps a crypto address on the clipboard exists and works.

Assuming the casino sees your transaction before the chain. It does not. Until a transaction is in a block, the casino has nothing to grab hold of, and support cannot "speed it up".

Making a deposit in expectation of a bonus without reading the terms. Speed is a technical question, wagering is a financial one. A large bonus at a house with a slow withdrawal is often a worse deal than a small bonus at a fast house — work it through with our calculator.

How this affects the choice of casino

If withdrawal speed is your main criterion, the right question is not "which coin is fastest" but "which casino credits and pays out fastest". The coin is yours to choose and you can change it at any time; a casino's threshold and manual review policy are fixed.

At the top of our ranking on this metric are Shuffle (90% of withdrawals under a minute when a KYC check does not trigger), Stake (automatic, under five minutes) and Thunderpick (free and under 15 minutes). At the opposite pole are houses where withdrawal approval is a manual stage — with Gamdom up to an hour, regardless of how fast a network you choose.

The fee market: why a Bitcoin deposit costs more today than yesterday

The Bitcoin network has no fixed price list. Every block holds a limited amount of data and miners pick from the waiting queue the transactions that pay the most per byte of data. It is an auction that takes place every ten minutes, and your transaction competes with all the others in the same queue.

The fee is counted in units of sat/vB — satoshis per virtual byte. An ordinary deposit is about 140–250 virtual bytes, depending on how many pieces your wallet balance consists of. From that comes an important and little-known consequence: if you have built up a balance from many small incoming payments, your transaction is larger and more expensive than the same amount from one large incoming payment. The wallet has to include all those pieces in the transaction and every piece adds data.

In practice it looks like this. On a calm night 5 sat/vB may be entirely enough and the transaction goes into the next block. When there is movement on the market — a big price change, a new token launch, an exchange panic — the same place in the queue may require 60 or 100 sat/vB. The same deposit then costs ten times more, or sits for hours if you pay yesterday's price.

How to check the fee yourself

Before a larger Bitcoin deposit it is worth spending three seconds: open mempool.space and look at what is being asked for the "next block" right now. If the number is low, it is a good moment. If the mempool is red and the queue long, consider waiting or using another coin. No casino gives you a bonus for paying a high network fee.

A rule of thumb

What RBF is and when it saves you

A Bitcoin transaction can be replaced before confirmation with a version carrying a higher fee — that is called Replace-By-Fee, or RBF. If your deposit is sitting in the queue and you do not want to wait, most modern wallets can "speed up" the transaction. Two warnings: the wallet has to have marked the transaction as RBF already at sending, and some casinos do not credit RBF-marked transactions before confirmation, since they can theoretically still be changed. So in some cases RBF can actually slow things down.

Coin by coin: what each choice really means

The following is a practical profile in the casino context, not investment advice.

Bitcoin (BTC)

The most widely accepted coin and almost every crypto casino supports it. In terms of security and decentralisation it is the strongest network. For casino payments, though, it is slow and expensive at busy times. It suits large amounts where a few minutes do not matter and where you want the most conservative choice. Price fluctuation means the value of your balance in euros changes while you play.

Ethereum (ETH)

Fast confirmation, but the main network's fee is unpredictable and sometimes absurd for small amounts. Ethereum's main role at casinos is as a carrier network for ERC-20 tokens, above all USDT and USDC. If a casino supports Base or Arbitrum, those are the same ecosystem's cheap alternatives — MetaWin, for example, works on the Base network, where the fee is a fraction of a cent.

USDT TRC-20

The workhorse of casino payments. A three-second block time, a fee that is almost nothing and a value tied to the dollar, so the balance does not swing during play. Almost every casino on this list supports it and it is our default recommendation for a regular player. The only condition: keep a small TRX reserve in the wallet, because the network fee is paid in TRX, not in USDT.

USDT ERC-20

The same token, a different network, an entirely different experience. The speed is good, but the fee can be tens of euros. Choose it only when a casino does not support TRC-20 or when you are moving a very large amount and want to stay in the Ethereum ecosystem. BC.Game's withdrawal minimum here is 21 USDT, for example, while for USDC it is 5.1 — the difference comes straight from network fee logic.

USDC

USDT's competitor, often preferred in regulated environments. Casino support is narrower but growing. Speed and fee depend on the network exactly as with USDT.

Litecoin (LTC)

An old and underrated choice. The block time is 2.5 minutes, the fee low and support at casinos broad. If you do not like stablecoins but Bitcoin is too slow, Litecoin is a sensible middle option.

Solana (SOL)

The fastest widely supported network — confirmation in a fraction of a second, a fee that is practically nothing. The network has historically suffered outages, but stability has improved in recent years. An excellent choice for withdrawals when a casino supports it.

Tron (TRX), XRP, Dogecoin, BNB

All fast and cheap, all supported to varying extents. TRX is worth keeping even when you do not play with it, because it covers the TRC-20 network fee. XRP is very fast and very cheap, but not every casino supports it. Dogecoin is faster than Bitcoin but less supported than USDT.

Where a deposit really starts: an exchange vs your own wallet

This is the part most guides skip, although in practice it is the largest single source of delay.

When you send money from your own wallet (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Ledger), the story starts on the blockchain immediately and everything above applies.

When you send money from an exchange (Binance, Coinbase, Kraken), the exchange's own withdrawal processing is added before the blockchain. That can be seconds or — if the exchange decides to review your withdrawal manually, which happens regularly with new accounts and larger amounts — several hours. Your casino deposit is then not slow because of the blockchain but because of the exchange, and no casino can do anything about it.

A practical tip

Another nuance: some exchanges send withdrawals in batches, combining several customers' withdrawals into one transaction. That saves fees but means your money waits until the batch fills up.

Confirmations, reorganisations and why a casino waits at all

Why does a casino not credit immediately when it sees a transaction on the network? Because an unconfirmed transaction can disappear.

On a blockchain a situation can occasionally arise where two miners find a block almost simultaneously and the network has to choose which one stays. The transactions of the losing branch go back into the queue — that is called a reorganisation (reorg). If the casino had already credited, it would have given you money that did not actually move.

Every further confirmation makes a reorganisation exponentially less likely. A Bitcoin transaction with one confirmation is in practice already very safe; three confirmations is the industry standard for larger amounts. On fast networks like TRC-20 there are more confirmations, but each confirmation is so fast that it does not matter in terms of waiting.

So when a casino waits, it is not being lazy — it is protecting itself. The only question is whether its threshold is reasonable or excessively cautious.

What costs more than speed with a deposit

An honest closing note. Speed is visible and therefore overrated. According to our measurements, players lose money far more often on three other things.

The wagering requirement. A 40× wagering eats a bonus's value faster than any network fee ever could. BetFury and 500 Casino are the highest on this list; calculate it before accepting with the calculator.

The maximum bet with a bonus. Exceeding the max bet voids a win and it is the single most common reason a withdrawal fails. The number is usually 5 euros and hidden in the middle of the terms.

The KYC threshold at the wrong moment. When KYC triggers while you have a large balance, the money sits for weeks. In our no-KYC ranking that threshold is listed separately for every house.

The fastest deposit in the world does not help when a withdrawal gets stuck on a rule you did not read.

A worked example: 200 euros, four routes

Let us take a specific situation. You want to put 200 euros' worth of money into a casino and play the same evening. The money is currently on a Binance account. Let us look at four routes end to end.

Route A — Bitcoin. The exchange's withdrawal processing 2–30 minutes, then the blockchain confirmation an average of 10 minutes, then the casino's threshold (say 2 confirmations) another 10 minutes. The network fee at the exchange typically a few euros. Total time: 20 minutes to an hour. Fine if you are not in a hurry.

Route B — USDT TRC-20. The exchange's processing the same 2–30 minutes, the blockchain seconds, the casino's threshold seconds. The network fee about a euro or less. Total time: 3 to 32 minutes, of which almost all is the exchange's. Here you can see how dominant the exchange's step becomes when the blockchain is fast.

Route C — USDT TRC-20 from your own wallet. There is no exchange step. The blockchain seconds, the casino's threshold seconds. The network fee a fraction of a cent. Total time: under a minute. That is the fastest realistic route and that is why we recommend it.

Route D — USDT ERC-20 at a peak moment. The exchange's processing, then a fast confirmation — but the network fee can be €15–40, which on a €200 deposit is 7–20%. The speed is good, the price is not. Avoid.

The difference between route A and route C is not "the coin is better". The difference is that route C removes two slow steps out of four.

What to take from this

When a network is busiest

The load on crypto networks is not even and the patterns are fairly stable.

Bitcoin is usually freer in the early European morning (about 04:00–08:00 Estonian time), when the USA is asleep and the Asian trading day is calm. The load rises as the US market opens and during large price movements, when everyone moves to and from exchanges at once. At the weekend the fee is mostly lower.

Ethereum follows a similar pattern, but NFT launches and DeFi events are added, which can multiply the fee within minutes. Predicting Ethereum's fee is considerably harder than Bitcoin's.

TRC-20 and Solana are practically independent of load from an ordinary user's point of view. Their volume is so large and the fee so low that nothing changes for an individual user.

If you make larger Bitcoin transfers regularly, that pattern is worth remembering — it is the simplest way to save money on network fees without changing anything else.

A security check before every larger transfer

A deposit is irreversible. No button takes it back and customer support cannot change the blockchain. Five seconds of checking always pays off.

  1. Check the network. The casino's deposit page states the exact network. The wallet has to have the same. TRC-20 is not ERC-20 and BEP-20 is neither of them.
  2. Copy the address from the clipboard. Do not type it by hand and do not use an old address you saved earlier — many casinos generate a new one for every deposit.
  3. Check the first and last four characters after pasting. Clipboard malware swaps the middle of an address in the hope that you will not look.
  4. Make a test transfer the first time. With a new casino or a new network, first send an amount close to the minimum. If it arrives, send the rest.
  5. Check the minimum. An amount sent below a casino's minimum may disappear or require support to intervene. Minimums differ on every casino's page and at some by coin.
  6. Save the transaction hash. If something goes wrong, it is the only thing support can search by.

When something has gone wrong: a step-by-step plan

Situation 1: the transaction has been sent but is not visible on the blockchain. Check in the wallet whether the transaction left at all. If the wallet shows "pending", it is in the mempool and the fee is probably too low. Use RBF or wait. Casino support can do nothing here.

Situation 2: the transaction is in a block, there are several confirmations, but no balance. Wait a bit more — check on the casino's deposit page how many confirmations it waits for. If the confirmations are clearly over the threshold and half an hour has passed, write to support. Include in the email: the transaction hash, the time of sending, the amount, the coin, the network and the address you sent to.

Situation 3: I sent via the wrong network. Write to support immediately and be honest. Some large casinos can help as an exception if the address belongs to them and they control the corresponding key. That is not a right but a favour, and the answer is mostly no.

Situation 4: I sent below the minimum. Mostly solvable through support, sometimes for a fee. Write and ask.

Situation 5: the deposit arrived but the bonus was not applied. That is not a payment problem. Check whether you had to activate the bonus before the deposit or enter a code, and whether your transfer exceeded the qualifying minimum. With Thunderpick that is $20, which is twenty times higher than the general minimum. Bonuses are mostly not applied retroactively.

Records and documentation for an Estonian player

Playing with crypto creates a trail worth keeping in order yourself — not because someone will ask immediately, but because later it is impossible to reconstruct.

Every blockchain transaction is public and permanent. If you ever make a larger withdrawal to a bank account or via an exchange, the bank or the exchange may ask about the origin of the money. Then it is good to have a simple table: date, amount, coin, network, transaction hash and what it was — a deposit or a withdrawal.

The choice of wallet affects speed more than you think

A wallet is not only a place where money sits. It is also software that decides what fee your transaction offers and how well it talks to the blockchain. Three broad categories behave quite differently.

A hot software wallet — MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Phantom and the like. The fastest for everyday use: open the app, send, done. The wallet offers a fee automatically and mostly sensibly, but on Ethereum it is always worth reviewing, because the default setting tends to be generous. The security risk is that the keys live on an internet-connected device.

A hardware wallet — Ledger, Trezor. Just as fast on the blockchain, but every transaction requires a physical button press on the device. That adds thirty seconds and removes the whole malware risk. With a larger balance it is the only right choice and thirty seconds does not matter in terms of speed.

An exchange account — Binance, Coinbase, Kraken. Convenient, but as described above it adds its own processing stage before the blockchain. In addition: money on an exchange is not under your control. Account freezes, maintenance breaks or a temporary halt to withdrawals are all things that really happen.

For casino play our recommendation is simple: keep gaming money separately in a hot wallet, keep long-term assets in a hardware wallet or cold wallet, and do not keep either on an exchange longer than necessary.

Why a separate gaming wallet is a good idea

Three reasons, of which only one concerns speed.

First speed: a small, clean wallet means few pieces and therefore smaller and cheaper Bitcoin transactions.

Second record-keeping: when all casino traffic goes from one address, you have a clear history at the end of the year without having to pick it out of the noise of your main wallet.

Third discipline — and that is actually the most important. When the gaming wallet holds only the amount you have decided to spend, the limit is physical rather than a question of willpower. It is the most effective restriction that can be set at a foreign casino at all, because it does not depend on the casino's cooperation. A practical set-up

How speed reaches our score

For transparency: our casino score consists of six categories and payments is one of them. Within the payments score we weigh four things.

  • The extent of automation — how large a share of withdrawals goes through without a human. That is the most heavily weighted indicator, because it determines what happens in the ordinary case.
  • The median time of a manual review — when a check triggers, how long it lasts.
  • Minimums and limits — whether a small balance can be withdrawn at all and whether a large win fits within the daily limit.
  • Fees and coin selection — whether the casino adds its own fee and how many networks it supports.

Deposit speed we do not count into a casino's score, except as regards the crediting threshold. The reason is simple: deposit speed is almost entirely a function of your own choices — the network and the route — and rewarding a casino for it would be misleading.

The same logic applies in reverse: a house that credits a deposit within seconds but holds a withdrawal for two days does not get a good payments score from us. Getting money in is not a favour.

What will change in the coming years

Two trends are already visible and both affect what we described here.

Cheap L2 networks become the standard. Base, Arbitrum and the like offer Ethereum's security at a fraction of a cent. MetaWin is already on Base and others will follow. In practice that means the ERC-20 fee problem gradually disappears without having to leave the Ethereum ecosystem.

Licensing regimes tighten. Curaçao's new system brings stricter AML requirements, which in turn means document-free thresholds are more likely to fall than rise. We wrote about that separately: Curaçao's new licensing system. The speed remains, but unconditional anonymity decreases.

Both changes are rather good for a player: cheaper transactions and a clearer complaints procedure. But they also mean that today's "no-KYC up to ten thousand dollars" is not a promise to build on in the long term.

What casinos say about speed themselves — and how to read it

Operators' marketing texts use very particular vocabulary about speed and every word means something specific. It is worth being able to read it.

"Instant withdrawals" almost always means that the approval is automatic, not that the money is in your wallet within a second. Blockchain time comes on top of that and nobody can remove it.

"Up to X minutes" is the best case, not the typical one. When a house promises "up to 10 minutes", it usually means that on a smooth day without a check the result is roughly that.

"90% of withdrawals under a minute" — as Shuffle says — is a more honest wording, because it acknowledges a distribution. But it also hides important information: what happens with the remaining ten per cent. In our tests the answer is that there is a KYC check there, and then the time is measured in days.

"No fees" refers to the casino's fee, not the network fee. The network fee you always pay yourself and no casino can remove it. Thunderpick is more honest about this, saying outright that there is no fee on its side.

If you want a number that is comparable, look at the median, not the mean. The mean is pulled strongly upwards by a single week-long review case; the median shows what happens in the ordinary case. On our statistics page we publish both, for exactly that reason.

Three myths that will not go away

Myth 1: "A casino slows withdrawals on purpose so that you will play the money away." Partly false and partly true. Nobody slows amounts under the automatic withdrawal threshold — that is a machine. But there are houses where the manual review is unreasonably broad and where a cancel button is offered conspicuously. The protection against that is simple: withdraw the money as soon as you decide to stop, and choose a house whose threshold is high.

Myth 2: "A larger network fee makes the casino's crediting faster." No. The network fee affects only the second step — getting into a block. The casino's threshold is a fixed number of confirmations and it does not move for money.

Myth 3: "Crypto casinos are fast because crypto is fast." Crypto is fast only on the right network. Bitcoin is slower than a SEPA instant payment, which arrives within seconds. Crypto casinos' real advantage is not speed but that they work around the clock, at the weekend and across national borders — banks do not. A checklist you can copy off the screen

Before a deposit:

  • Is the network in the wallet exactly the same as on the casino's page?
  • Does the amount exceed the casino's minimum for that coin?
  • If I want a bonus — does the amount exceed the bonus's qualifying minimum?
  • Is the network fee under 1% of the amount?
  • Do I know how many confirmations this casino waits for?

After a deposit:

  • Have I saved the transaction hash?
  • Does the block explorer show the transaction in a block?
  • How many confirmations are there now?

Before a withdrawal:

  • Is the wagering requirement met?
  • Have I exceeded the max bet limit while playing with a bonus?
  • Does the amount exceed the withdrawal minimum and stay under the daily limit?
  • Am I ready for KYC possibly triggering?

A closing word

If you have to remember one sentence from this article, it is this: deposit speed is a property of the route, not of the coin. Your own wallet on a fast network is under a minute. The same coin via an exchange on a slow network is half an hour. The coin is the same in both cases.

And if you have to remember a second sentence, it is this: speed is the most visible but the least costly variable in the whole chain. Wagering, the max bet and the KYC threshold decide your wallet's fate far more often than whether you waited ten minutes or ten seconds.

Frequently asked questions

Which is faster, USDT or BTC?

Almost always USDT — but only when you send it on a fast network. Via USDT TRC-20 or Solana it arrives within seconds, Bitcoin takes ten minutes to an hour. USDT ERC-20 is fast too, but the network fee can be many times higher. "USDT" alone says nothing about speed until you specify the network.

Why is my deposit not in the balance yet when the blockchain shows the transaction went through?

The casino has its own threshold for how many confirmations it waits for before crediting. Look at the number of confirmations in a block explorer — if there are still few, everything is fine and you have to wait. If there are dozens of confirmations and the balance is still empty, it is time to write to casino support with the transaction hash.

Can I get back USDT sent via the wrong network?

Mostly not. If you send TRC-20 USDT to an ERC-20 address, the money is practically gone. Some large casinos can help as an exception if the address belongs to them and they control the corresponding key, but that cannot be assumed or demanded. Check the network before sending.

Does a faster coin also mean a faster withdrawal?

No. A withdrawal passes through the casino's internal check before the blockchain and that stage is usually the bottleneck. A fast network does not help when the casino reviews your withdrawal manually. Deposit speed is technical, withdrawal speed is largely policy.

How much network fee should a deposit cost?

With TRC-20 and Solana a fraction of a cent. In Bitcoin it depends on network load and can range from a few cents to several euros. On the Ethereum main network the fee can reach tens of euros at peak times — for a small deposit that is mostly a pointless choice.

Can a casino charge an extra fee on a deposit?

Most crypto casinos do not charge a deposit fee, but some add their own fee to a withdrawal. Thunderpick, for example, charges neither. Check it in the terms before your first transfer — it is one of the few numbers operators publish honestly.

Deposit time is not a property of a coin.
