kryptokasiinod.ee is an independent comparison and content portal. We do not organise gambling, do not accept bets and do not open a casino account for you — so neither your identity documents nor your payment details pass through us.
This document explains what data we nevertheless collect, on what basis and for how long we keep it, and how you can exercise your rights. The policy follows the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Estonian Personal Data Protection Act. If any point remains unclear, write to us — we will explain it in plain language.
01Who we are
kryptokasiinod.ee is a comparison portal for foreign crypto casinos. The controller of your data is the site's editorial team.
- Contact: toimetus@kryptokasiinod.ee
- What to write about: an enquiry about what we hold on you; correction or deletion of data; unsubscribing from the newsletter; a suspicion that something is wrong
We are not a gambling operator or a payment intermediary. The casinos we compare here are separate companies with their own privacy policies and their own data processing — we have no control over those.
If you open an account at a casino, that becomes a relationship between you and the casino. We do not intervene in it and do not see what data you give the casino.
02What we collect and on what basis
We collect as little as possible. At present there are three kinds of data.
- The newsletter email address — only when you provide it yourself (for example in exchange for an extra spin or a reminder). We use it to send the newsletter. We do not sell or exchange it with anyone. Legal basis: your consent.
- Device storage (localStorage) — the state of the prize wheel, the mystery box and the offer rotation is kept on your own device, not on our server. We have no copy of it and no access to it. Legal basis: the technical functioning of the service.
- Anonymous statistics — page views, clicks on offers, screen width. On that basis we decide what to write and what to fix. We do not link an IP address to a person. Legal basis: legitimate interest in developing the site.
What we never collect: a personal identification code, a photo of a document, a crypto wallet's private key or seed phrase, transaction history, a casino account password.
No honest site asks for a private key or a seed phrase — neither we nor a casino. Such a request is always a fraud, no matter whose name it comes in.
03Affiliate links
The site contains affiliate links. When you open a casino through our link, a referral code is added to the address, on the basis of which the casino calculates our commission.
What moves in the process and what does not:
- The casino learns that a visitor came from our site. We do not send your personal data along.
- Your email address, name or anything else identifying you does not pass from us to the casino.
- From the casino we receive aggregate figures, not a list of players. We do not see whether you opened an account, how much you deposited or whether you won.
- The commission does not affect the ranking or the assessments — the testing methodology is set out on the about us and methodology page.
Further data processing follows the casino's own privacy policy. Read it before opening an account, especially the part about document requests and data retention.
04Cookies and device storage
We use only technically necessary cookies and localStorage. We have no third-party advertising cookies and we do not sell profile-based advertising.
What that means in practice:
- Necessary — the state of the menu and preferences, technical information tied to the session.
- Device storage — the state of the prize wheel and the mystery box, offers already seen. All of it stays on your device and disappears together with the browser data.
- Absent — tracking pixels, retargeting, advertising network cookies.
You can delete all of that yourself at any time: in the browser settings, "Delete cookies and site data". After that the state of the wheel and the box starts from zero and nothing else changes.
05Your rights
The GDPR gives you specific rights over your data. All of them apply here too.
- Access — you may ask what data we hold about you and on what basis.
- Rectification — we correct an incorrect or outdated item of data.
- Erasure — you may demand deletion of data; for a newsletter address we do it immediately.
- Restriction of processing and objection — you may demand that we stop processing on the basis of legitimate interest.
- Portability — we hand out the data you provided in a machine-readable form.
- Withdrawal of consent — at any time and without giving a reason. That does not change the lawfulness of earlier processing.
To unsubscribe from the newsletter you do not need to write: every email has a one-click link in the footer. For other enquiries write to toimetus@kryptokasiinod.ee — we reply within 30 days at the latest, usually considerably faster.
If the unsubscribe link does not work for some reason, write to us — we remove the address manually and confirm it to you.
06How long we retain data
We keep data only as long as it is actually needed.
- The newsletter address — until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion. Long-inactive addresses we remove ourselves when tidying the list.
- Correspondence — we keep it for the time needed to resolve the enquiry, so that we can later show what we did and when.
- Anonymous statistics — retained in aggregate form, where an individual visitor can no longer be distinguished.
- Device storage — until you delete it yourself. We have no copy of it, so we cannot delete it for you either.
When data is no longer needed we delete it or irreversibly anonymise it.
07Who we share data with
We do not sell data. To no one, in no form.
A limited number of trusted service providers process data on our behalf and on our instructions: hosting, the newsletter sending service and statistics software. Data processing agreements have been concluded with them and they may not use the data for their own purposes.
If a service provider is located outside the European Economic Area, we rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or another safeguard permitted by the GDPR.
We may also disclose data when the law requires it — for example on a justified request from a law enforcement authority. In that case we notify you unless notification is prohibited by law.
08Complaints and supervision
If you believe we have handled your data wrongly, write to us first — most things are resolved with one email.
If the reply does not satisfy you, you have the right to turn to the Data Protection Inspectorate (aki.ee), which is the supervisory authority for personal data protection in Estonia. Filing a complaint is free.
Complaints about a casino's own conduct fall outside our competence — a casino operating under a foreign licence is not under Estonian supervision. We will still help direct the complaint to the right place: see the complaints page.
09Changes
When the policy changes we update the version number and the date in this page's header.
About substantive changes — for example if we started collecting a new kind of data — we give separate notice in the newsletter and, where necessary, ask for new consent. Earlier versions exist and are available on request.
See also the terms of use, which set out what the site is responsible for and what it is not.
Write to the editorial team. We answer every enquiry and, if needed, explain in plain language what we keep and why.
