A block explorer is a website that shows the contents of a blockchain: every transaction, address and block. Bitcoin, Ethereum and Tron each have their own — mempool.space, etherscan.io, tronscan.org.
Why it matters to a player
If a deposit has not arrived, the block explorer answers one question definitively: has the money left at all and has it confirmed. Whose problem it is depends on that.
- The transaction is not on the chain → the problem is at your wallet's or exchange's end. - The transaction exists but has too few confirmations → you simply have to wait, see confirmation. - The transaction is confirmed and the address is right → the ball is in the casino's court and you have proof you can send to support.
What to look at
Search by the transaction hash (TXID) your wallet gave you. Check three things: the recipient address (whether it is exactly the one the casino cashier showed), the amount and the number of confirmations. If the address does not match, you have sent to the wrong network or the wrong address — getting it back depends on the casino's goodwill.
A practical tip
Save every deposit's TXID immediately. Arguing with support without it is slow; with a TXID it is usually a one-email matter. The same applies to a withdrawal — ask the casino for the transaction hash if the amount is not there within an hour.
