Game weighting

The percentage at which each game type fills the wagering: slots usually at full weight, table games at a fraction, some games not at all.

Game weighting shows how much of each stake the casino counts towards the wagering calculation. Slots are mostly at full weight, table games and live tables considerably lower, and some games — typically crash, dice and certain progressive jackpots — do not fill the wagering at all.

Why this changes a bonus's real price

Weighting quietly recalculates the wagering requirement. For example, 30× wagering on a 100 USDT bonus means 3,000 USDT of turnover in full-weight slots. If the same turnover accumulates in a game that counts only a tenth, 30,000 USDT of turnover is needed — ten times more stakes and ten times more exposure to the house edge. Low-house-edge games are given a low weighting precisely because otherwise clearing a bonus with them would be too cheap for the casino.

What to check before the first spin

- The weighting table is in the bonus terms, not next to the game — find it before you start playing. - Zero-weighted games do not move the wagering at all: time and money go, the progress bar stands still. - Check whether the weighting is set per category or per individual game; there are often exceptions within a category. - Check whether the same weighting also applies to winnings from free spins.

Weighting goes hand in hand with the max bet rule — together those two void the most bonuses. If you mostly play at a live table, rakeback or cashback with no wagering requirement is usually a more sensible choice than a large welcome bonus. The weighting table is where a bonus quietly gets more expensive

The game weighting says how much of a bet counts towards the wagering. Slots mostly give
100%, roulette and blackjack often 10% or 0%. In practice that means the same
wagering requirement can be either €4,000 or €40,000 of turnover — depending on
what you play.

The table is almost always in a separate paragraph, not beside the offer. Look in the terms for the words "bet
weighting", "game contribution" or "contribution". If there is no table at all, assume the worst and
ask support before you take the bonus.

Zero-weighted games are a trap. In some houses' terms certain games give not a little but nothing
at all — and in some cases playing them voids the bonus instead. That is a separate line, different from
the weighting, and it is worth looking for as carefully as the max bet limit.

Crypto casinos' "originals" (crash, dice, plinko) are a category of their own: their
