Guide

Max cashout is the most expensive line in the small print

Bonus terms often contain a sentence most people do not read: the maximum withdrawal. It means that only a certain amount, or a certain multiple of the bonus, can be withdrawn from a win arising from the bonus; the rest is deleted. By the moment of the withdrawal request it is already too late.

Two forms. A fixed amount ("max withdrawal €100") and a multiple ("max 5× the bonus amount"). The second is fair; the first is what makes a large bonus practically worthless: a €500 bonus whose max withdrawal is €100 is in reality a €100 offer that takes €500-bonus worth of work to clear.

Why it shows up on no-deposit bonuses in particular. With a free bonus the casino does not have your money at risk, so the upper end is capped. On no-deposit offers a max cashout is almost always present and usually low — see the no-deposit bonus list and read the cap on each offer.

How to factor it into the calculation. An offer's real value is the lower of two: the balance expected after wagering, and the max cashout. If the second is smaller, that is your actual ceiling and all the rest of the calculation is theoretical. The bonus calculator gives the first half, this tool the second.

At a crypto casino there is an alternative. Rakeback has no max cashout, because it is not a bonus but a payment — a share of your own stakes back, withdrawable immediately. When a bonus's max cashout makes the offer worthless, rakeback is usually the better route.

Frequently asked questions

Does max cashout apply to a deposit bonus too?
Sometimes yes, but more often to no-deposit offers and free spins. Read each offer’s terms separately.
What happens to the rest of the win?
It is deleted at the moment of withdrawal. It is written into the terms and is not successfully disputed.
